WWE: Chelsea Green suggests reunion with former partner after 5 years apart

Chelsea Green has voiced interest in reuniting with Robert Stone on WWE’s main roster. The current Women’s United States Champion reflected on their successful NXT partnership from 2020 during an interview with The Wrestling Classic.

Green praised Stone’s contributions and shared her vision for a potential reunion:

I would love, love, love to be paired with Robert [Stone]. I think we have the same mentality, and we work hard. We’re always thinking about character stuff (…) Our minds don’t shut off in that way

The SmackDown star emphasized Stone’s in-ring capabilities while advocating for his main roster presence:

I think at the end of the day, people forget how talented he was in the ring as well. We get glimmers of it, but it’s not the same. We need him back on the main roster, killing it

Championship Legacy Discussion

In a separate conversation, Green addressed the possibility of reviving the Divas Championship, which was retired in 2016 during WWE’s women’s evolution. When asked about her interest in bringing back the defunct title, Green offered a straightforward response:

Yep, 100%

The suggestion comes as Green continues to make history as the inaugural holder of the Women’s United States Championship, representing WWE’s current era of women’s wrestling.
