WWE added Carmella to its alumni section on the official website, confirming the end of her tenure with the company. The departure follows a contract expiration during a period of medical recovery.

Carmella stepped away from competition in March 2023 for maternity leave. Following the birth of her child, she encountered a medical complication known as drop foot, a nerve damage condition that occurred during delivery.

During her WWE career spanning nearly 12 years, Carmella captured multiple championships, including one reign with the SmackDown Women’s Championship and one with the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Zelina Vega. She also secured the 24/7 Championship on four occasions.

The news emerged after Carmella modified her social media profiles, removing WWE references from her account name and biography. Her husband, Corey Graves, maintains his role as a WWE broadcaster.
