The February 17, 2025, edition of RAW featured a high-stakes Elimination Chamber qualifying match between Finn Balor and Seth Rollins in the main event. Rollins secured the victory with a stomp after a hard-fought contest that included a referee botch. This loss extended Balor’s record to 1-7 in his last eight televised matches.

During BTT Presents: The Last Word, Jonathan Coachman shared his perspective on the match outcome. The former WWE broadcaster acknowledged the company’s presentation of uncertain match outcomes, while offering candid thoughts on Balor’s chances:

When you have these big matches and the WWE wants us to believe that either guy could win—I never thought Finn was going to get the job done tonight. Was it a good match? Okay, yes, but to Matt’s point, we never thought for a second Tommy that Finn was going to be that sixth guy in the Chamber match.

With this loss, Balor failed to join Drew McIntyre, John Cena, CM Punk, Logan Paul, and Damian Priest in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. During the podcast discussion, Matt Morgan and Tommy Carlucci expressed concerns about the Triple H-led creative team’s handling of Balor’s momentum.

John Cena’s first WWE RAW appearance since his Elimination Chamber heel turn generated an explosive reaction from the Brussels crowd on March 17. According to Fightful Select, WWE executives were extremely pleased with the audience response to Cena’s new villainous character.

The Brussels fans greeted Cena with thunderous boos and loud “you sold out” chants before he could even begin speaking. The crowd immediately erupted into the familiar dueling chants of “let’s go Cena” versus “Cena sucks” that have followed him throughout his career.

Cena proceeded to address the WWE Universe directly, calling them “awful” and accusing them of “bullying him into being a puppet.” He further claimed the fans had “ruined his retirement tour,” cementing his new antagonistic persona.

The segment reached its peak when Cody Rhodes interrupted Cena’s tirade. Rhodes told Cena that fans had given him “their best for 25 years because they believed in him.”

When Cena attempted to respond, Rhodes cut him off with a stinging rebuke:

I want to wrestle the old Cena at WrestleMania 41, not this whiny b**.

Rhodes’ comment sent the crowd into another frenzy, forcing Cena to exit the ring in silence while fans serenaded him with “na na na na, hey hey, goodbye.”

Roman Reigns made his first appearance since Royal Rumble during last week’s RAW. He attacked Rollins by dragging him out of the Steel Cage, which resulted in Rollins securing a victory over Punk in their main event match. Reigns then turned his attention to Punk, laying him out as well.

Reigns and Punk previously teamed together at the Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event alongside the rest of the OG Bloodline. The group defeated The Bloodline in the Men’s WarGames Match.

Mystery Partner for Jey Uso on Next RAW Possibly Revealed

Following Jey Uso’s quick victory and tag team challenge on RAW, TNA World Champion Joe Hendry suggests on social media he might be the mystery partner for next week’s match in Glasgow.

Jey Uso will compete in a major WWE tag team match on next week’s RAW alongside a mystery partner. Following Monday’s show in Brussels, a reigning World Champion teased that he might step in to help The YEET Master.

The March 17 edition of RAW saw Jey in action against Austin Theory in a singles match. The Samoan star swiftly defeated the former United States Champion in a bout that lasted approximately 30 seconds. As commentator Corey Graves noted, even Jey’s entrance lasted longer than the contest itself.

This quick victory led to an angry Grayson Waller challenging Jey. The Australian demanded that Jey find a mystery partner to face A-Town Down Under during the March 24 episode of RAW in Glasgow, Scotland.

Shortly after this development, TNA World Champion Joe Hendry posted a photo on X (formerly Twitter), accompanied by his signature catchphrase. The Prestigious One strongly suggested he might appear as Jey’s mystery partner on next week’s flagship show.

The potential partnership comes as RAW continues its European tour, with Glasgow being Hendry’s hometown. If the TNA Champion does appear, it would represent a significant cross-promotional moment between WWE and TNA Wrestling.

WWE has not officially confirmed who will team with Jey for the tag team match against Waller and Theory. The reveal will likely come during next week’s RAW from Glasgow’s OVO Hydro arena.
