As per Fightful Select, WWE internally listed Cobb on its roster last week. This suggests potential movement on signing the United Empire faction member.
Sean Ross Sapp noted in the report that he was uncertain if the listing was premature, as Cobb is still being booked to compete in NJPW events.
Cobb has worked for New Japan Pro-Wrestling as part of the United Empire stable, establishing himself as a notable figure within the promotion since making his professional wrestling debut in 2009.
