WWE Features Top AEW Stars in New YouTube Video

WWE has made a notable reference to two prominent AEW stars, featuring both Mercedes Moné and Toni Storm in an official video. The company uploaded the video to its official YouTube channel on Sunday, September 28, 2025, showcasing a full match from its archives.

The video, titled “Best of Rhea Ripley: Full Match Marathon,” included the complete 2019 Women’s Traditional Survivor Series elimination match. That bout featured teams from RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, with Ripley herself competing as part of the NXT contingent.

During the match, Moné, then performing as Sasha Banks, represented Team SmackDown. Storm was a member of Team NXT alongside Ripley.

The inclusion is significant as both Moné and Storm are currently contracted to AEW, a direct competitor to WWE. Moné is the reigning TBS Champion for the promotion. Storm departed WWE in 2021 and subsequently signed with AEW in 2022.

Since leaving WWE, both athletes have achieved significant success and are considered top stars in the industry. Storm has become a cornerstone of AEW’s women’s division, establishing a record with four separate reigns as the AEW Women’s World Champion. Moné has built a global presence, becoming one of the few women to capture major championships in four of the world’s top promotions: WWE, AEW, NJPW, and CMLL.
