WWE Fires Another Major Star

WWE has released Elektra Lopez from the SmackDown roster, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. Lopez, who last competed on television during the Women’s United States Championship tournament on December 6, 2024, was a member of Legado Del Fantasma on the blue brand.

This release follows several other roster changes by WWE this week. The company has also parted ways with The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar), Paul Ellering, Isla Dawn, and Cedric Alexander. Additionally, WWE informed Pure Fusion Collective member Sonya Deville that her contract would not be renewed.

The series of releases marks a significant shift in WWE’s roster composition. Lopez’s departure adds to the list of talent changes that have occurred throughout the week, affecting multiple divisions across the company’s programming.
