WWE Hall Of Famer Diamond Dallas Page Hospitalized

WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page has been hospitalized following a recent episode of Atrial Fibrillation (AFib). From his hospital bed, Page shared a video update after undergoing a successful cardioversion to restore his heart’s normal rhythm.

The incident occurred last week when the 69-year-old was training without his heart monitor. In a social media post, he explained the situation, stating, “I pushed myself too hard, felt ‘off’, dizzy, and heart racing… and well, here we are…”. This marks the second time in three years that Page has dealt with the condition.

While the cardioversion procedure was successful, DDP confirmed he is scheduled for a more permanent solution. He will undergo a cardiac ablation next month to address the underlying issue.

Page used the health scare as a public service announcement, emphasizing the importance of monitoring heart health during exercise. He made a direct promise to his wife, Payge McMahon, writing, “I will never not wear a heart monitor and/or @Apple watch when working out again. I promise Payge!”. He also specifically urged anyone over 50 or those with a slightly enlarged heart to take similar precautions.

This advocacy aligns with Page’s post-wrestling career, which has been centered on health and wellness. His DDP Yoga (DDPY) program has been credited with helping numerous wrestlers manage injuries, including Chris Jericho and Drew McIntyre. His work supporting fellow legends like Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Scott Hall through their recovery is well-documented, and he has more recently provided support for Lex Luger and Buff Bagwell.
