WWE Hall of Famer divulges how Linda McMahon was behind the scenes (Exclusive)

Former WWE personality Linda McMahon recently got nominated as Secretary of Education in the US. This has prompted a lot of discussion about her, leading to a Hall of Famer commenting on her behavior behind the scenes.

Linda had quite a few segments in WWE history. Added to that is her relationship with Vince McMahon, which made her a prominent figure in the company’s history. Former SmackDown GM Teddy Long also had quite a few interactions with Linda, allowing him to peek into her backstage character.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, the WWEHall of Famer stated:

“I had a chance to meet her on several occasions and each time I met her she was always nice and pleasant, had a conversation talking to her you know, took time. She was really a sweetheart of a lady and all I wanna say is for her new job, congratulations. I hope she does her very best.” [From 05:05 to 05:25]

Another WWE veteran recently commented on Linda McMahon’s relationship with Vince McMahon

Linda McMahon’s lawyer recently clarified that she and Vince McMahon were separated. As expected, this has prompted several comments from veterans, including Vince Russo.

Speaking on an episode of Writing with Russo, the veteran stated that everybody was trying to distance themselves from Vince McMahon after the slew of allegations against him.

“Who would have ever thought. Like Vince McMahon is like a skunk. Everybody’s just trying to run away from him. Who would have ever thought, I mean, Chris, how ironic is this. I mean, EC3 knows this. I mean, bro, this guy went how many years with people kissing his backside. Now, people cannot get far enough away from this dude, including his own wife.”
