Chad Gable has experienced a career resurgence on Monday Night RAW under Triple H’s creative direction, performing alongside Otis and Maxxine Dupri. A planned storyline extension for the performer has now been canceled.

During his recent feud with the Latino World Order on RAW, Gable had expressed interest in learning lucha libre techniques to counter his opponents. This led to Dominik Mysterio suggesting a specific mentor for his training.

Bryan Alvarez revealed the status of this creative direction.

It looks like Chad Gable will NOT be headed to AAA. There was a plan involving a Luchador mentoring him, but it may have fallen through.

The proposed storyline would have expanded upon Gable’s ongoing character development, which has seen him feuding with various members of the Latino World Order on Monday Night RAW.
