WWE Introduces New Championship Belt Heading Into SummerSlam

Just days before its first-ever two-night SummerSlam, WWE has launched a new commemorative championship belt. The SummerSlam-themed title is now available for purchase on the company’s official shop for $599.99.

This marks the second major title belt introduced by the company in recent weeks. It follows the release of a new Undisputed Tribal Chief Championship, which was created as part of the ‘OTC1’ merchandise collection. That specific replica was initially intended to be presented to Roman Reigns during the eventual debut of WWE RAW on Netflix.

The release of high-end merchandise aligns with the massive scale of this year’s SummerSlam. The event features a WrestleMania-caliber card, highlighted by what is expected to be John Cena’s final appearance at the summer show.

Cena is set to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes in a Street Fight. With the company expanding SummerSlam to two nights at MetLife Stadium, the introduction of exclusive, event-themed collectibles continues WWE’s strategy of amplifying its biggest annual shows.
