Bully Ray shared his thoughts about potential World Heavyweight Championship scenarios during the latest episode of Busted Open podcast. While discussing championship matches, Ray stated he was not interested in seeing Jey Uso challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
When David LaGreca suggested a potential match between Sami Zayn and Jey Uso, Ray proposed a different direction for Gunther. Ray specifically mentioned wanting to see Brock Lesnar return to face Gunther.
I’m just going to back Gunther out for a second. What do you do with Gunther in that scenario? The only match I would want to see Gunther involved with if he was pulled out of the world championship picture is Brock Lesnar. Brock Lesnar was supposedly removed from entering the Men’s Royal Rumble match last year. Gunther later seemingly confirmed there were plans for a match between them at WrestleMania before changes occurred.
