Layla has expressed interest in returning to WWE following a challenge from Chelsea Green for WrestleMania 41. The former WWE Women’s Champion retired in 2015 and has since established herself as a real estate agent while starting a family.
The possibility of Layla’s return gained momentum after Michelle McCool’s WWE Hall of Fame induction announcement. Green directed her challenge specifically to both members of LayCool, the popular tag team Layla formed with McCool during their time in WWE.
While initially not interested in returning during the women’s revolution period, Layla appears to have shifted her stance regarding an in-ring comeback. She has not competed in a match since announcing her retirement nearly a decade ago.
