WWE Makes New Decision That May Have Sealed Brock Lesnar's Departure
WWE removes all footage of Brock Lesnar from Roman Reigns’ WrestleMania highlight package despite their three main event matches together.

WWE has taken steps to distance itself from Brock Lesnar by completely removing him from a historical video showcasing Roman Reigns’ WrestleMania appearances. The company’s official Twitter account released the compilation highlighting Reigns’ ten WrestleMania main events, but notably excluded any footage of Lesnar.
The video deliberately omitted Lesnar from three significant WrestleMania main events featuring Reigns from 2015, 2018, and 2022. Instead, the package only displayed footage of Reigns facing other opponents including Triple H, The Undertaker, and Cody Rhodes, despite Lesnar being a key rival in Reigns’ WrestleMania legacy.
This removal occurs despite Lesnar’s name being mentioned on the April 11 edition of SmackDown, when Cody Rhodes referenced his previous matches against Lesnar while promoting his upcoming bout with John Cena at WrestleMania 41.
Lesnar has not appeared on WWE programming since his match against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023. His extended absence coincides with his connection to the ongoing legal case filed by Janel Grant against former WWE chairman Vince McMahon.
Recently spotted at a restaurant in Austin, Texas, Lesnar responded cryptically when asked about a potential WWE return, simply stating “We’ll see”. The company’s decision to systematically erase Lesnar from its historical content suggests his WWE run may have reached its conclusion, at least until the legal situation is resolved.
