WWE NXT 02/18 Results - Contract Signing, Jordynne Grace, Contender's Match, and More

Live Coverage:

Oba Femi arrives at the arena and goes straight to the ring. “The Ruler” claims that the four mysterious men who attacked him at Vengeance Day made the mistake of not finishing the job. He challenges those responsible to show up right then and there. The lights go out and suddenly, the TNA X-Division Champion, Moose, appears on the scene.

Moose enters the ring and faces the NXT Champion. The crowd cheers with chants of “Holy Shit!”. Moose declares that he is the man Oba Femi cannot rule. The Nigerian responds that he is inevitable there. “Oba, it has to happen. Oba Femi vs. Moose,” says the TNA fighter. “Don’t worry, it will happen,” responds Femi. The two champions raise their titles face to face, ending the first segment of the night.

In a previously recorded segment, Eddy Thorpe asks Ava for another title shot after her victory over Trick Williams. Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon break into Ava’s office and invite them to a party. Thorpe mocks them and Andre Chase. Kale Dixon then challenges Thorpe to a fight against Chase, representing Chase himself.

NXT Women’s North American Championship – #1 Contender’s Match: Karmen Petrovic vs Kelani Jordan vs. Jaida Parker
– Parker lands a “The Silence” on Jordan and Petrovic makes the pinfall.

Jordan and Parker start a fight that spills backstage. Meanwhile, Petrovic and Ashante “Thee” Adonis celebrate in the ring, until Fatal Influence appears and attacks Petrovic. Adonis calls for help from the officials. Adonis confronts Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx, but ends up getting hit with a chair by Jacy Jayne.

Fatal Influence continues to attack the Canadian. Jayne lands a powerful punch on Petrovic’s face, who falls to the ground. Henley grabs a microphone to apologize to Petrovic before congratulating her on tonight’s victory.

Stephanie Vaquer appears on the scene. The Chilean climbs into the ring, where she is soon surrounded by her rivals. Giulia enters the ring and stands next to “La Primera”. Fatal Influence begins a new attack against the champions, who are quickly overwhelmed by the heels. Jordynne Grace appears in the ring to help Giulia and Vaquer get rid of the attackers. Grace grabs the microphone and makes it clear that she came to NXT to be part of the best women’s division in the world. She then challenges Fatal Influence to a tag team match later tonight.

Adriana Rizzo and Luca Crusifino approach “Stacks” backstage. “Stacks” states that he is ready to take care of The Family’s business in Tony D’Angelo’s absence. He asks his teammates to follow him, ending the segment.

Tag Team Match: Sol Ruca e Zaria vs Lash Legend e Jakara Jackson
– Ruca lands a “Sol Snatcher” on Jackson, followed by a pinfall.

Sarah Schreiber interviews Wes Lee backstage. Wes acknowledges that NXT has become an unpredictable place. Ricky Starks appears, interrupting the interview. Schreiber turns to the brand’s new wrestler, ignoring Lee, who has to be restrained by his teammates. Starks says he feels great hearing the words “WWE” and “NXT contract,” stating that all questions will be answered when he signs the contract later tonight.

Ava enters the ring with a contract in her hands. She places the document on the table in the center of the ring, and Ricky Starks appears (with the NXT theme music playing in the background). The NXT General Manager welcomes him. Starks acknowledges that he hasn’t been in NXT long, but he can already tell that the brand is amazing. He says that being there isn’t a dream, it’s a reality. Starks promises that he will be the main event and the future champion of the brand. He says that the revolution officially begins now. Starks prepares to sign, but… Ethan Page interrupts the segment.

“All Ego” believes that the contract stipulates that Starks’ first fight will be for the title and that the new talent is following in his footsteps. Starks asks if Page is hurt and assures him that he will fulfill his promises, and his promise is to elevate the brand. Starks says that Page should be celebrating his victory over Je’Von Evans, not interrupting his moment. He also warns that Evans will soon return for revenge. Page doubts this, but Evans appears in the ring to attack him. The fight between Evans and Page spreads to the audience.

Starks tries to sign the document, but now it is Wes Lee who interrupts.

Lee says that Starks disrespected him and states that, as soon as the contract is signed, he will be the first to welcome him. Starks agrees to face him next week. He prepares to sign, but Lee tries to surprise him with a punch. Starks reacts in time, striking Lee first and throwing him out of the ring. Starks signs the contract, where we finally see the wrestler’s name: Ricky Saints. He poses in the ring as the segment comes to an end.

Axiom and Nathan Frazer are interviewed backstage. The NXT Tag Team Champions are still reeling from the attack they suffered at Vengeance Day. The No Quarter Catch Crew shows up and makes it clear that they want to face the best tag team in the world: The Hardy Boyz. Tavion Heights challenges the TNA World Tag Team Champions to a match next week. Axiom and Frazer are surprised by the proposal.

Several wrestlers appear injured backstage, apparently after being attacked. Ricky Saints observes the scene and comments, “Man, this place is crazy,” before leaving.

Singles Match: Shawn Spears vs. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo
– Spears lands a “Death Valley Driver” on Lorenzo, followed by a pinfall.

Moose finds Lexis King backstage. King reminds him that last week he defeated one of Moose’s men and claims he has the guts to challenge Oba Femi. Moose interrupts him and makes it clear that if King wants a shot at his X-Division Championship, he will have to go to TNA to find him.

Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon explain to Andre Chase that he has a match against Eddy Thorpe, who disrespected him. Chase decides to go to the ring alone, stating that this is something he needs to handle on his own.

Singles Match: Andre Chase vs. Eddy Thorpe
– Thorpe lands a “Impaler DDT” on Chase, followed by a pinfall.

Trick Williams appears on the screen. “Eddy Thorpe. You thought you were done with Trick Williams? You’re wrong. This isn’t over until I say so. And if I go down, I’m going to take you down with me,” says a threatening Williams. An angry Thorpe asks where he is as the segment comes to a close.

Ava and Ricky Saints talk backstage. Ethan Page approaches them, as does Wes Lee. Je’Von Evans appears on the scene. Ava imposes order and schedules a tag team match for next week.

The Hardy Boyz respond to the No Quarter Catch Crew’s challenge via video, accepting to face the NXT team. Matt and Jeff Hardy invite Axiom and Nathan Frazer to watch the match.

6-Woman Tag Team Match: NXT Champion Giulia, NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne)
– Grace lands a “Juggernaut Driver” on Nyx, followed by a pinfall.

Ava’s office is shown, completely destroyed. The NXT General Manager finds Mr. Stone passed out on the floor. On the wall, there is a message: “NOBODY IS SAFE”. Concerned, Ava approaches her assistant to check on him. “What the hell happened?” she asks, as we come to the end of this week’s episode.
