WWE NXT Star Injured During TNA iMPACT Tapings

NXT star Ridge Holland suffered a leg or ankle injury on September 27, 2025, during a TNA television taping in Edmonton, Alberta. The incident happened when he landed awkwardly in a bout against Moose, forcing the referee to stop the contest immediately.

Witnesses reported that Holland could not put weight on the injured leg after the fall. Moose was announced as the winner by referee stoppage and helped carry Holland backstage after the match.

The contest is set to air on the October 12 episode of Impact Wrestling. Holland’s involvement came as part of the ongoing NXT vs. TNA Invasion storyline. Just one day earlier, on September 26 at TNA Victory Road, he had dropped a featured bout to Mike Santana.

In the angle, Holland has been presented as a top heel, working under a deal with NXT’s Trick Williams. The agreement positioned him to earn a TNA World Championship opportunity by eliminating Santana from contention.

The former rugby player recently rebranded his persona as “The Steam Pig.” Despite being reassigned to WWE’s Evolve brand in July 2025, he has remained a central figure in the cross-promotional conflict.
