During the RAW episode aired after WrestleMania 41, WWE promoted a confrontation between Women’s World Champion IYO SKY and NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer. The match took place after Vaquer interrupted SKY’s promo to congratulate her on defending the title at WrestleMania and then challenged her to a match.
The two champions delivered a balanced contest until Roxanne Perez and Giulia intervened, attacking both and seemingly forming a temporary alliance. Shortly after, Rhea Ripley appeared to fend off Perez and Giulia, returning the belt to SKY and making it clear that she remains in contention for the Women’s World Championship.
In the next edition of NXT, Stephanie Vaquer will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez. It is still unclear what role Giulia will play in this rivalry.
There has been no indication that Perez, Giulia, or Vaquer have been promoted to the main roster. The presence of the wrestlers on RAW appears to have been a one-off to highlight the NXT roster.
