Adam Pearce sent a three-word message on Instagram after physically intervening during Roman Reigns’ attack on Seth Rollins during this week’s RAW. The WWE Official stepped in as the situation escalated following the Steel Cage main event.
Rollins faced CM Punk in the Steel Cage Match to close RAW. During the match’s final moments, Reigns pulled Rollins through the cage door, inadvertently causing Punk to secure the victory. Reigns then attacked his former Shield teammate with a Superman Punch and Spear.
As Reigns positioned Rollins for a Stomp on the steel steps, Pearce rushed to the scene and physically prevented further damage. The confrontation marked a rare instance of the WWE Official making physical contact with a competitor.
Following the incident, Pearce posted on Instagram with the simple message:
I was running!
The confrontation continues the developing story between Reigns and Rollins, with The Original Tribal Chief making his presence felt since returning to WWE television. Reigns’ actions during the Steel Cage Match directly impacted the outcome of Punk versus Rollins.
