WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce shared an unusual incident that occurred just one day before the brand’s upcoming show in Milwaukee. In an Instagram post, Pearce revealed that a bird defecated on him while he was attending a Chicago Cubs game. The post noted that his baseball cap took the direct hit.
The incident comes as Pearce finalizes the card for the September 8 episode of Raw, which is set to air live from the Fiserv Forum.
Pearce officially announced that AJ Lee is scheduled to appear on the show. This marks her first scheduled appearance on Raw since her return to WWE on the September 5 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Also confirmed for the broadcast is an appearance by The Usos, who have “something to say.”
Two new matches were also added to the lineup: Lyra Valkyria is set to face Raquel Rodriguez, and AJ Styles will take on El Grande Americano.
Lee’s return on SmackDown saw her confront Becky Lynch in the ring. The confrontation was a direct retaliation for Lynch having slapped CM Punk earlier in the segment. The broadcast ended with Lee standing tall and holding the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Regarding the incident at the baseball game, Pearce seemed to take it in stride, stating on his Instagram, “It’s good luck.”
