Even a chaotic, brawl-filled episode of Monday Night Raw from Birmingham, England, wasn’t enough to hold its viewership on Netflix. The August 25 go-home show for Clash in Paris saw a notable drop in its global audience, ranking sixth for the week with 2.6 million viewers, down from the 2.8 million who tuned in the previous week. According to Netflix’s official website, the hours viewed also dipped from 5.4 million to 5 million.
The viewership decline came despite an episode heavy on action from start to finish. The show kicked off with a wild brawl between Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed that spilled outside the ring and involved a pile of security guards. This set the tone for a night that also saw Becky Lynch accept Nikki Bella’s challenge for a Women’s Intercontinental Championship match at the upcoming premium live event.
The main event featured Bron Breakker defeating LA Knight, but only after interference from Seth Rollins. The chaos continued after the match when Rollins and Breakker attacked Knight, leading to Jey Uso and CM Punk making the save. It all ended in a three-way fight between Knight, Uso, and Punk—the challengers for Rollins’ title—with Uso being the last man standing.
Other significant developments on the broadcast included:
- AJ Styles securing a clean victory over Finn Bálor.
- Dragon Lee snapping a losing streak with a major win over The Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh.
- Rhea Ripley defeating Roxanne Perez before being attacked by Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, which prompted IYO SKY to come to Ripley’s aid.
