WWE RAW Viewership For August 18 Episode On Netflix Revealed

The August 18 episode of WWE RAW maintained its global viewership on Netflix, drawing 2.8 million viewers. This figure kept the show’s audience even with the previous week, ranking it seventh overall on the streaming platform.

According to data released by Netflix, the broadcast accumulated 5.4 million hours viewed, a slight increase from the 5.3 million hours of the week prior. Raw also landed in the top 10 shows in 15 different countries.

That viewership was for an episode packed with significant storyline developments, headlined by an Extreme Rules match. In the show’s main event, Jey Uso defeated Bron Breakker in a chaotic contest established earlier in the night by Paul Heyman. The bout saw interference from The Vision, which prompted both LA Knight and CM Punk to even the odds.

The decisive moment came when Roman Reigns appeared, assisting Jey Uso in securing the victory.

The match served as a critical build for the upcoming Fatal 4-Way for the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash in Paris. Tensions also ran high backstage between two of the other competitors in that match, LA Knight and CM Punk. Punk suggested a temporary alliance against The Vision, but Knight rejected the offer.

The episode also featured a major announcement that reshaped the Women’s World Championship picture. Naomi formally relinquished the title after confirming she is pregnant. She vowed to return in approximately nine months to reclaim the championship she never lost.

In other women’s division action, Becky Lynch successfully defended her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Natalya via submission. Following the match, Lynch assaulted both Natalya and Maxxine Dupri, which triggered the surprise return of Nikki Bella. Bella neutralized Lynch, laying her out with the Rack Attack 2.0.

A heated backstage confrontation between Sheamus and Rusev also resulted in Raw General Manager Adam Pearce booking a Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match between the two for Clash in Paris.

The show also included Iyo Sky defeating Raquel Rodriguez before aligning with Rhea Ripley. Additionally, Penta secured a pinfall victory over Xavier Woods, and The Judgment Day’s Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh defeated Dragon Lee and Mr. Iguana.
