WWE releases six main roster talents including AOP, Sonya Deville, Cedric Alexander, and Blair Davenport, with notifications issued during SmackDown broadcast.

WWE Releases Six Talents After SmackDown

WWE released six talents during the February 7 SmackDown broadcast. Cedric Alexander confirmed his departure through social media, revealing a 90-day non-compete clause in his contract.

According to Fightful Select, Sonya Deville’s contract expires in the coming weeks, allowing her immediate entry into free agency. Deville participated in the Pure Fusion Collective alongside Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark on Raw.

Blair Davenport joined SmackDown from NXT last year. Following an injury period and subsequent return, Davenport received limited television exposure before her release.

Akam and Rezar, part of the Final Testament faction with Karrion Kross and Scarlett, made sporadic appearances in recent months. Kross continued to feature in backstage segments and social media content, primarily accompanied by Scarlett rather than his faction members.

The released talents also include Paul Ellering, who managed Authors of Pain during their previous WWE tenure.
