A new report identifies WWE's internal favorite to win the high-stakes Battle Royal scheduled for the upcoming Evolution 2 event.

WWE Reportedly Already Determined the Winner of Major Evolution 2 Match

Former NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer is the internal favorite to win the upcoming Battle Royal at Evolution 2, according to a report from BodySlam.net. The winner of the match is slated to receive a women’s World Championship opportunity at Clash In Paris.

The potential main event push comes just over a month after Vaquer officially joined the WWE RAW roster. Her transition to the main roster followed the conclusion of her NXT Women’s Championship reign, which ended on May 27 in a match against Jacy Jayne.

Since her call-up, Vaquer has been featured consistently in high-profile situations. On June 2, she competed in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match against Ivy Nile and Liv Morgan. Just days later, on June 7, she participated in an interpromotional tag team match at WWE Worlds Collide. She also competed in a four-way Queen of the Ring tournament match on the June 9 edition of WWE RAW.

Her main roster activity follows a dominant period in NXT, where she became the first woman to simultaneously hold both the NXT Women’s and North American Championships. Her run also included a notable title defense against Jordynne Grace at NXT Battleground on May 25. Vaquer also recently addressed a minor knee injury scare, confirming on social media that she is fine.

WWE announced the Battle Royal will take place at Evolution 2 on Sunday, July 13, from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. While no competitors have been officially named, the report suggests Vaquer is being positioned for the most significant push of her career, though it notes that plans are always subject to change.
