WWE Reportedly Eyeing Two Top Free Agents for Major Signings
WWE reportedly showing interest in signing free agents Alex Hammerstone and Kevin Knight, according to WrestleVotes’ recent Q&A session on Sportskeeda.

The WWE talent acquisition machine is humming again with Alex Hammerstone and Kevin Knight now firmly on their radar, according to fresh intel from WrestleVotes.
The scoop dropped during a recent Sportskeeda Backstage Pass Q&A session where WWE’s interest in both free agents was confirmed.
Interested in both. I don’t know if they’ll come. I don’t know if they’ll come together, but they’re two talents that WWE is interested in. Yes.
Hammerstone’s future has been a hot topic since MJF seemingly teased forming a new faction during last week’s AEW Dynamite.
The imposing heavyweight wrapped up his TNA run earlier this month following a loss to World Champion Joe Hendry on the March 13 episode of iMPACT.
Wrestling fans might remember Hammerstone already had a brief WWE cup of coffee, working two NXT matches last September against Oba Femi and Tony D’Angelo.
Meanwhile, Kevin Knight has been a free agent since January when his NJPW deal expired, making spot appearances for AEW Dark, ROH and Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling.
WWE’s 2025 hiring spree has already netted Penta for RAW plus Jordynne Grace and Ricky Saints for NXT, with Rey Fenix and Aleister Black reportedly close to joining.
