WWE Reportedly Planning Major Match Involving Former Shield Members at WrestleMania 41

PWInsider reports WWE has plans for a triple threat match at WrestleMania 41 featuring Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk. This development follows the confrontation between the three competitors at the Royal Rumble, where Punk eliminated both Reigns and Rollins from the match.

Michael Cole announced on the February 3 edition of WWE Raw that Reigns would be absent for the foreseeable future. This announcement came after Rollins delivered a post-elimination attack on Reigns at the Royal Rumble, which included multiple stomps and a confrontation with Paul Heyman.

The report states the following:

For EVERYONE who has asked, my belief is the Roman Reigns is “out of action” reference made by Michael Cole was more of a way to explain his absence in the storylines short-term than anything else. Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins, currently, is the plan for Wrestlemania 41.

The incident at the Royal Rumble saw Logan Paul eliminating Punk from the match after the former Shield members were removed from contention.
