Recent reports from multiple wrestling news outlets indicate that WWE is in the advanced stages of finalizing contracts with several international talents: Aigle Blanc from France, Mike D Vecchio from Italy, and Zozaya from Spain. These potential acquisitions follow WWE’s European tryout events conducted earlier in 2025 as part of the company’s ongoing international talent expansion.
According to information reported around May 20, 2025, Aigle Blanc and Mike D Vecchio are close to completing their agreements. Zozaya, who garnered attention following the tryouts, is expected to officially sign in September 2025, reportedly after finishing his university studies in June. All three wrestlers are anticipated to begin with WWE around September 2025, with initial assignments likely within the NXT brand. James Amner is reportedly overseeing the contract negotiations for these European recruits.
While these three names are prominent, sources suggest at least one other unnamed participant from the tryouts may also be signed. However, there is currently no confirmation of any UK-based talent from this specific recruitment drive finalizing deals with WWE.
Another prospect, Goldenboy Santos, remains a subject of WWE interest, but an ongoing injury is expected to delay any potential signing.
