WWE Reveals Major Plans for Next RAW

An official addition has been made to the lineup for this Monday’s episode of WWE Raw. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced Sunday afternoon that IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley will appear live on the September 29 broadcast from the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Their addition to the show stems from a recent on-air angle where Asuka blinded Ripley with mist before she and Kairi Sane assaulted SKY. The appearance is positioned as a direct response to that attack.

In a video posted to social media, Pearce addressed the situation. “After what happened last week, being blindsided by Asuka and Kairi Sane, IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley will be in the house in Raleigh and I’m sure they got something to get off their chest,” he said.

The updated card for Monday’s show, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Eastern time, now includes four announced segments. Dominik Mysterio is set to defend his Intercontinental Championship against Rusev, and a tornado tag team match will see Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed face Jey and Jimmy Uso. Additionally, Bayley is scheduled for a singles match against Raquel Rodriguez.

The attack on Ripley occurred after she had secured a victory over Asuka on last week’s broadcast. That same episode also featured a major development for the brand, as a match between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins was made official for the Crown Jewel premium live event on October 11.
