NXT star Lola Vice has expressed her desire for a major future match against WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Vice named the former two-time Divas Champion as a dream opponent, joining a growing list of talent calling out the veteran.
Vice reflected on a previous on-screen interaction with Bella at WWE Evolution, describing it as the foundation for a potential storyline. She also emphasized their shared Hispanic heritage as a point of pride. “I would love to have a big match against Nikki Bella,” Vice said. “When I shared the ring with her at Evolution, I was so happy to be dancing with her. I remember being in the ring, I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I can’t believe I’m doing this.’ I think it’d be cute one day to have a match with her. Vice’s comments follow similar challenges from other active competitors. On September 25, 2025, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton publicly called out Bella for a “generation vs. generation” match at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
Bella returned to full-time competition after a three-year hiatus, reentering at the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble. Now part of the Raw roster, her comeback has featured matches against Becky Lynch and Asuka. A WrestleMania 42 appearance would mark her first on the card in nine years, since WrestleMania 33 in 2017.
In the same interview, Vice also praised Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE Women’s World Title victory at Wrestlepalooza, calling it a source of inspiration. “Stephanie is someone that worked extremely hard to get to WWE, and she deserves everything she has right now,” Vice said. “When I see her now being a World Champion… she’s one of the best wrestlers I’ve ever seen in my life… I think right now, I’m living my destiny, and when the time is right, hopefully one day, I’ll be in the same position that she’s in.”
