WWE Rising Star May Debut New Look Soon

NXT Superstar Jordynne Grace is in search of a new look after having a chunk of her hair forcibly cut by Blake Monroe during their Weaponized Cage match at the NXT No Mercy premium live event. Despite the incident, Grace went on to defeat Monroe.

Following the event, Grace took to X, formerly Twitter, to seek professional help in Orlando. “But seriously… if you know a hairstylist in Orlando that can fit me in Monday/Tuesday tell me, otherwise I will be on NXT this week looking chopped.”

The angle occurred mid-match when Monroe, who wrestled as Mariah May in AEW, handcuffed Grace to the ropes with a hair dryer. She then proceeded to cut her opponent’s hair. The match was the culmination of a rivalry that began when Monroe betrayed Grace at WWE Evolution 2.

Grace’s arrival in WWE occurred in January 2025 when she entered the Women’s Royal Rumble match. The move reportedly involved a “pay cut” for the star, who also shut down a paid content business as WWE was not agreeable with the venture.

Regarding her career transition after a long tenure with TNA that began in 2018, Grace explained her mindset. “I’ve done pretty much all there is to do and I feel like if there was ever a time to move forward, it’ll be right now,” Grace stated, attributing the decision to her confidence after a successful 2024.
