The 2025 Royal Rumble, scheduled for February 1st at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, is tracking to set a new record for the largest non-WrestleMania gate in professional wrestling history, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer provided details on the event’s current ticket sales and pricing structure.
WWE has not confirmed to us that the show will set the largest non-WrestleMania gate in history, but given the ticket prices and the way tickets have moved, it would appear to be in that direction.
The event has sold 55,751 tickets for Lucas Oil Stadium, which holds a maximum capacity of 65,000 when accounting for stage setup requirements. Meltzer elaborated on the secondary market performance.
There was very limited secondary market movement as well, as the last word was 797 listings with a very strong $181 get-in price, the latter being among the largest in pro wrestling history.
