WWE Set to Announce Major PLE Return Soon

The rumors are true – WWE‘s all-women’s Premium Live Event is making a comeback. After nearly seven years on the shelf, Evolution is set to return this summer, giving the women’s division its own spotlight once again.

WrestleVotes has confirmed the news that was first reported by Cory Hays of PWNexus earlier this month. The event is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, July 5th at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

After speaking with sources, we can confirm WWE is set to bring back the highly anticipated ‘Evolution’ PLE this summer

WrestleVotes stated.

The return of the all-women’s event is expected to be officially announced before WrestleMania.

The original Evolution took place in October 2018 in Long Island, featuring standout matches between Ronda Rousey and Nikki Bella, along with Becky Lynch facing off against Charlotte Flair.

That card also showcased returning legends from the women’s division’s past, creating a true celebration of women’s wrestling across multiple eras.

Despite positive fan reception, the original Evolution didn’t become an annual fixture on WWE’s calendar. At the time, women weren’t permitted to wrestle at WWE’s Saudi Arabia shows, leading to speculation that Evolution was partly a response to criticism.

The women’s division has evolved significantly since 2018, with the talent pool deeper than ever. Will this revival finally cement Evolution as a permanent fixture on WWE’s yearly schedule?
