WWE Set to Confirm Major Rumor Next Week
WWE reportedly bringing back Evolution on July 5, 2025 at Mohegan Sun Arena with official announcement expected next Monday.

The landscape of women’s wrestling is about to get a massive boost as reports indicate WWE is finally ready to resurrect one of its most celebrated concepts. After years of fan speculation and wishful thinking, the Evolution Premium Live Event is making its long-awaited comeback, giving the women’s roster a dedicated spotlight that’s been missing since the inaugural show nearly seven years ago.
According to information from WrestleVotes, the all-women’s show is locked in for July 5, 2025, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut. Joey Votes shared on the Backstage Pass show that fans won’t have to wait long for confirmation, stating:
We’ve been told that the date is already confirmed: Saturday, July 5. In addition, WWE will make the official announcement on Monday. They will probably do it via social media, but they could also give it more prominence.
The original Evolution took place on October 28, 2018, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. That groundbreaking show earned widespread acclaim from both critics and fans, who praised the quality of the matches and recognized its historical significance as WWE’s first Premium Live Event featuring exclusively female performers.
This revival represents perfect timing for WWE’s women’s division, which has evolved tremendously since 2018.
