Piper Niven is reportedly sidelined with an injury. According to Fightful Select, WWE sources confirmed the Slaygent is out of action, though the exact nature of the issue has not been disclosed.
The development explains recent on-screen shifts involving her partner, Chelsea Green. Green has been searching for temporary partners for her Secret Hervice on social media and teamed with Alba Fyre on the September 19 SmackDown. The duo unsuccessfully challenged for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
On television, WWE has attributed Niven’s absence to a “special and top-secret mission” assigned by Green.
Niven’s last televised appearance came on the August 22 SmackDown, where she defeated Charlotte Flair with help from Green.
This is not the first time Niven has been forced out due to medical issues, having previously battled Bell’s Palsy.
