TNA star Jordynne Grace addressed an on-air gaffe from this week’s WWE NXT, where she mispronounced the name of fellow TNA talent Joe Hendry during a backstage segment. The former Knockouts Champion later took to social media to offer a humorous explanation for the mistake.
The incident occurred during an interaction with Kelani Jordan. Grace encouraged Jordan to represent TNA with pride before the conversation turned to the alignment of the crossover stars. It was at this point that Grace referred to the arriving Hendry as “Joe Henry.”
After the show, a fan pointed out the error to Grace online. In her response, she claimed the mispronunciation was a long-standing issue that had never been corrected.
Grace stated, “The fact that I’ve been saying his name wrong for years and no one corrected me says more about y’all than about me.”
