WWE Star Likely to Miss WrestleMania 42

Zoey Stark is not expected to return to the wrestling ring until 2026 due to a severe knee injury. This timeline suggests she could miss WrestleMania 42, an event scheduled for April of that year.

The injury occurred during the May 19 broadcast of WWE RAW, as Stark competed in a qualifying match for the women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match. While executing a missile dropkick, Stark landed improperly, immediately signaling distress.

Medical personnel promptly attended to Stark at ringside and escorted her backstage. She subsequently underwent knee surgery to address the injury and began her rehabilitation process.

According to a report from Fightful Select, sources within WWE do not anticipate Stark’s in-ring return during 2025.

In other injury-related news, Kevin Owens addressed his wrestling future, indicating uncertainty regarding his return to competition. Owens was compelled to step away from active competition in the weeks preceding WrestleMania 41 due to a serious neck injury. He initially expressed a desire to wrestle at the event but was advised by medical professionals that doing so posed significant danger.

Owens provided an update on his condition, stating that he has not yet undergone surgery. His doctor is monitoring the natural healing progress of his neck. However, Owens confirmed that surgical intervention is inevitable and will occur in the coming weeks.

He revealed that his neck has been a concern for several months, expressing a sense of fortune that his condition was not more severe than it is.

Owens concluded his comments by refraining from guaranteeing a return to the ring. He stated, “I don’t know if that will be the case.”
