WWE suggests ex-champion’s return after long injury, Royal Rumble could be in plans

WWE released Alexa Bliss’s last match on its official YouTube channel, fueling speculation about her potential return. Bliss has been away from in-ring competition since January 28, 2023, when she faced Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event.

WrestleVotes Radio on Backstage Pass reports that Triple H’s creative team has established plans for Bliss’s comeback. The timing aligns with recent developments, as WWE strategically highlights her past performance amid growing anticipation for the upcoming Royal Rumble event.

Bliss Takes on New Voice Acting Role

While fans await her in-ring return, Bliss has secured a role in Netflix’s upcoming project. The streaming platform announced her as the English voice of Obiguro in the anime adaptation of Yuuto Suzuki’s Sakamoto Days.

Such an honor to voice “Obiguro” in SAKAMOTO DAYS! Can’t wait for this!!!

This marks Bliss’s second voice acting venture, following her previous work in Netflix’s The Queen of Villains. The announcement comes as WWE develops new merchandise and promotional materials for her anticipated return, possibly setting the stage for an appearance at the Royal Rumble.
