WWE To Triple Down On Saudi Arabia Events In 2026

WWE is expanding its commitment in Saudi Arabia with a finalized plan to hold three separate Premium Live Events in the Kingdom during the 2026 calendar year. This marks a significant increase from 2025, which is scheduled to feature only a single PLE.

The decision to increase the number of events follows a TKO earnings call where it was noted that holding just one show in 2025 would create an “unfavorable impact” of approximately $55 million in revenue. The expanded 2026 schedule appears designed to compensate for that temporary reduction.

The first of the three events is set to be the Royal Rumble in January 2026. This historic show, held as part of the Riyadh Season festival, will be the first time a traditional Royal Rumble has taken place outside of North America. As per tradition, the winners of the men’s and women’s Rumble matches will receive a world championship match at WrestleMania 42.

While the January event is confirmed, the May and November 2026 shows have not yet been officially named. Conflicting reports have emerged regarding the November event’s identity.

One report suggests the PLE is likely to be Survivor Series. However, a separate report citing a WWE source indicated that the company is unlikely to hold Survivor Series in Saudi Arabia, or if it does, the event would be moved from its traditional Thanksgiving weekend slot to avoid sending talent on an overseas tour during the holiday.
