Former WWE star Mr. Kennedy addressed speculation surrounding his 2009 release from the company, taking personal responsibility while discussing John Cena and Randy Orton’s alleged involvement. The revelation came during a recent interview with Ten Count Media.
“To be honest with you, I have no idea. I don’t know if any of that’s true. It doesn’t really matter to me,” Kennedy said regarding rumors of Cena and Orton’s influence on his departure. “Even if that was true, it’s just part of my history.”
Kennedy, who emerged as a prominent figure in WWE during the mid-to-late 2000s, emphasized his role in the circumstances leading to his release. “I am the one responsible for getting myself fired. Even if those guys did some behind-the-scenes talking or whatever, I was in enough of a situation where Vince would listen to that,” he explained.
