Veteran journalist Bill Apter has directly refuted Kevin Nash’s recent assessment of Becky Lynch.
Nash claimed the pro-wrestling business had “passed her by” following what was described as an unimpressive Intercontinental Championship defense against Nikki Bella at Clash in Paris.
Apter’s rebuttal is based on Lynch’s actions later during the same event. She interfered in the main event, enabling her husband Seth Rollins to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in a Fatal 4-Way match.
Speaking on The Wrestling Time Machine, Apter identified this development as a key career revitalization for Lynch.
“Not at all! She just got involved in an angle where she has become Becky freakin Rollins. This whole situation where she saved her husband’s World Championship in that Fatal 4-way match… It’s a new, invigorating program for her. I am excited about it.”
