Randy Orton is scheduled to appear on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. According to PWInsider Elite, The Viper will be featured on the program following his surprise return at Elimination Chamber 2025.

Orton made his return at the premium live event last Saturday night in a dramatic moment that caught fans by surprise. He emerged after Kevin Owens defeated Sami Zayn in an Unsanctioned match at the event.

The Legend Killer’s appearance came at a crucial moment, as he saved Zayn from a post-match assault by Owens. This intervention marks Orton’s first televised appearance since his injury last November.

The rivalry between Orton and Owens dates back to the November 8 edition of SmackDown. During that broadcast, The Prizefighter brutally attacked Orton and executed a Package Piledriver, which wrote Orton off television.

Prior to the attack, Orton and Owens had been aligned on SmackDown, working together in various segments and matches. The betrayal came after Owens had repeatedly failed in his attempts to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes.

Tonight’s SmackDown appearance will likely address Orton’s future plans and the continuation of his rivalry with Owens. WWE has not officially announced a segment or match featuring Orton for the show.

The returning superstar’s appearance adds significant interest to tonight’s broadcast, as fans await his first words since the surprise comeback at Elimination Chamber.
