Young WWE Talent Claims to Be the “Female Gunther”

Performance Center trainee Penina Tuilaepa shared her perspective on WWE’s current roster in a preview for the upcoming WWE LFG series. The developmental talent drew parallels between herself and Gunther, who entered WWE in 2019.

I see myself the most like Gunther. Same stature, big fella. I’m a big girl. I think his technique is top tier. He does all the little things right, and in the end that’s all that matters. People can have the glitz and glam, the body, and whatnot, but if you can’t wrestle in the ring, if you can’t do all the little things right, then what are you really here for?

The WWE LFG series, set to premiere on A&E on February 16, will showcase multiple Performance Center trainees alongside mentors Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Booker T, Bubba Ray Dudley, Mickie James, and The Undertaker.

On the February 10 episode of RAW, WWE aired an additional WWE LFG teaser featuring Gunther providing guidance to the Performance Center rookies.
