Add as a preferred source on Google Tiffany Stratton is back on top of the WWE women’s division. On this week’s Friday Night SmackDown, the wrestler defeated Giulia and captured the Women’s United States Championship.
Stratton earned her title shot on the final Friday Night SmackDown before WrestleMania 42, on April 17, when she defeated Jordynne Grace in a #1 Contender’s Match.
Stratton and Giulia delivered one of the best performances of their careers since joining WWE in this week’s match. Before the finish, both hit their signature moves. Giulia also had interference from Kiana James.
However, Stratton’s path to victory began with a botched interference from James, who ended up hitting Giulia by accident.
In the ring, Stratton hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever on Giulia and secured the pinfall to become the new champion.
This is the first time Stratton has won the Women’s United States Championship, marking her second title on WWE’s main roster. Giulia’s reign came to an end after beginning it on January 2.
