Triple H faces tough decision over WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship after Jade Cargill injury
Triple H considers stripping Women's Tag Team Championship following Jade Cargill's injury. Veteran warns of challenging return path amid stacked women's roster.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H confronts a challenging situation regarding the Women’s Tag Team Championship following Jade Cargill’s injury. Cargill, who suffered multiple injuries in a backstage attack, faces an extended absence that could keep her away through WrestleMania 41.
The incident left Cargill with deep lumbar paraspinal muscle contusions, a sprained MCL, and facial lacerations. The attack, which ended with Cargill unconscious on a car hood, creates uncertainty around the championship’s future.
Bianca Belair now stands at a crossroads without her tag team partner. While WWE could assign her a new partner to maintain the championship reign, another scenario emerges. Belair might refuse new partnerships out of loyalty to Cargill, potentially leading to solo title defenses.
This situation could trigger a character evolution for Belair, especially if it follows a loss at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. Such developments might force Triple H to intervene and require Belair to relinquish the championship, particularly with new women’s singles titles on the horizon.
Veteran warns of challenging return path for Cargill
Wrestling veteran Jonathan Coachman raises concerns about Cargill’s future upon her return.
Speaking on Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word podcast, Coachman highlighted potential creative hurdles awaiting Cargill.
“If Jade Cargill has to go on her own, she may get buried. We’ve seen it a million times. If you can’t get over on your own, if Becky comes back, Charlotte comes back, then you got Bianca, Nia Jax, Bayley, Liv on the RAW side, where’s there gonna be anything for Jade Cargill?” Coachman said.
